Since then, I’ve written for Muskoka Magazine, Lakeside Magazine, Ontario Nature and The Muskokan, to name a few – articles about ordinary people doing both ordinary and extraordinary things. I believe every person has a fascinating story to tell.
I write about nature – it grounds me and is a place where I find peace and solace. I also write about things I care about like children’s nourishment programs and land protection. I am captivated with the history of Muskoka – the First Nation’s people who have inhabited Muskoka for thousands of years and the settlers who ventured here in the 1800’s.
Now, through Cottage Wordsmith, I am creating Business History, Cottage Memoir, Personal Memoir books. I still write about fascinating people but, instead of articles, I weave together beautiful photo memory books that tell unique and touching stories of people, families and their cottage lives as well as business histories.
I would be honoured to help you tell your story – be it a personal or business one.
